Just trying to get us to the blog procedure
Played 3 men golf competition with best 2 scores count, (tee off at 8:37am) with Richard and Eddie. Started off very good with two pars (6pt for that hole) it went downhill afterward. Scoring 36pt in the front 9 and 46pt in the back 9 with a of totalled 72pt. I scored 17pt in the front 9, and 20pt in the back 9 (same as Eddie). But I had to give a £1 to the lads for not having the best score. Enjoyed the game very much with good companies and sunny weather. The photograph was taken from the 4th tee.
After half an hour of chinwag with the lads, Arrived to a very quiet home, as Serena is out picking blueberries with Sally at Middleton. In the meantime I bought a rolling blinds for the lounge window to block out the sunshine while watching TV. It was from: http://247blinds.co.uk. Easy website to buy items and better price than others. Now, I just hope that it will fit on the window walls.
It is now 4:15pm the sun is still shinning, Serena just got back with two large tubes of blueberries, she decided to have a wash and dress to entertain our first Captain's Ball at the golf club. It was Martin (this year's President of the golf club), our neighbour who invited us to share his table for the evening. At 6:30pm we will be formally dressed and walked to his house for a small aperitif and champaign before driving to the Captains Ball at the golf club for a dinner and dance.
